Hi. I'm a fashion design student from Rotterdam. I take things that are strict, like office tailoring, pinstripes and uniforms, and cross them with things that sweat, like sports jerseys, gym mats and the street.
I draft my own patterns, test everything in CLO3D, and I'm happiest when a technical detail is the reason a garment feels soft.

I don't start in the studio. I start on the tram, at the market, in the gym hall, looking at how real people wear a blazer or a football shirt.
The everyday uniform is my research. Someone who wears a coat that's a size too big, a jersey over a work shirt, or socks pulled up over trousers is already designing. I photograph it, then try to work out why it works.
About
who I am as a designer —I like clothes with rules in them: a pinstripe, a jersey number, a seam that has to be straight. Then I break one rule and see what happens.
