Project 01
Ratterdam
A digital collection, cut from the city's rubbish.“We created a world of waste. Now, we've evolved into the rats that live in it.”
- Look 07 Silver plastic, black ruffles
- Look 05 Red plastic, floral sleeves
- Look 09 Carrier-bag print, tail
Concept
Dressed in what we throw away
Rotterdam, renamed by the animals that actually run it at night. I photographed crushed plastic bags, foil and printed carrier bags, turned them into fabric textures, and built a collection in CLO3D for the people who live off the city's waste. Red, silver, torn edges, tails.
Line-up
Ten looks
Every look is simulated in CLO3D. Scroll sideways.

CLO3D patterns
Pattern meets plastic
The 2D pattern pieces from CLO3D, each next to the photographed material it's made from.

Material
Nest
Recycled fibres from off-cuts, felted together into one rough sheet: red, black, yellow and lilac. The kind of thing a rat would build a nest from.
